I love a great cocktail. But I like to keep people guessing. I'm likely to show up with spiked cupcakes or ice cream instead of an actual liquid refreshment. And I own a company where we make yummy things from sugar, so the cocktail gummy was a natural progression for me. This is not the jello shot or booze soaked packaged gummy party treat from the past. This is a freshly made cocktail in gummy form that blows everyone away.
This summer I tried chareau for the first time and kept thinking it would be perfect in a cucumber vodka spritz - and it was. Light and refreshing for these hot Texas days. So, when I got the cookout invite and she requested something good but not too sugary, I knew I had to make a gummy. Whipped out our mint cocktail gummy mix (just add booze) and added 3/4 cup of Prairie cucumber vodka and 1/4 cup of chareau.
These are great for out by the pool or lake and make a great addition to a party. No bottles or containers to worry about. You have to try it!! Five lucky people will get to try our mint mix for FREE. Follow @threelumpsofsugar on instagram and comment on our post with the same pic as above to be entered. Winners will be selected Tuesday morning at 8am.
If you just want to make the chareau cucumber spritz in liquid form:
1 ounce chareau aloe liqueur
2 ounces cucumber vodka
a fresh sprig of mint
skake with ice and strain into a stemless flute or wine glass.
top with bubbly of your choice
